Adam and Eve: Myth and Prototype of Man. The Israeli choreographer, Roy Assaf, playfully encounters the first couple in human history. In “Adam” he gives the human body a poetic but also idiosyncratic expression: “Imagine a human being, shimmering skin, floating bones, gaping throats, flaring nostrils, floating glutes… What if our body parts spoke to us like words?” In "Eve" the female body is characterized by supposed female positions and movements that have become clichés, coquetry, and also rebellion.

The Portuguese choreographer, Liliana Barros, on the other hand leaves the human behind. She brings creatures to the stage that Hieronymus Bosch might have seen in his triptych, “The Garden of Earthly Delights.” In this panorama, the fall of man is unimportant, paradise and hell are blurred, morality is banished, and Adam, Eve, and God are excluded. Here we find Liliana Barros' idea of a place after our world moves between dystopian and utopian associations.
